Ear Infection
The second most common children’s disease, after the common cold, is an ear infection. Over 75% of children up to the age of 3 years will suffer, at least once, from this kind of condition. Make sure you follow these remedies since this problem can be very painful.
Home remedies for Ear Infection
• Place a few drops of vodka on cotton wool and gently clean the inflamed ear.
• Dip a ball of cotton in olive oil and place it in the infected ear.
• Warm a teaspoon of olive oil and drip it into the infected ear.
• Warm up some hydrogen peroxide and apply to ear.
• Open the mouth and gently trace your jaw bone with your fingers until you reach the depression just before the ear. Place your middle finger about one centimeter beneath the start of the depression and press it. Now close your mouth and apply continuous pressure to the said spot.
• Avoid smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, and caffeine since these things can aggravate the problem. Avoid exposure to loud noises and sounds.
• If you have difficulty sleeping at night, turn on the radio and listen to soothing music.
• Exercise regularly. This will increase the blood flow on your head helping you to get rid of the ringing.
• Apply warm neem oil to the infected ear.
• Crush a couple of garlic cloves and mix it with mustard oil. Put it in the ear once a day.
• Boil a couple of fresh basil leaves. Let it cool down and apply three to five drops in the ear.
• Combine mango leaves powder in water. Boil it for ten minutes. Chill and apply it to the ear.
• Put three drops of onion juice in the ear twice a day.
• Gently clean your ear with soft ear buds every day.
