Cholera
Cholera (or Vibrio cholerae) is a very contagious disease. It is caused by bacteria called vibrio cholera from which it infects the small intestines making it very hard to absorb water. A person with cholera will experience extreme diarrhea for an hour or two, making the body lose a lot of fluid for short period of time. Here are some home remedies that can treat and avoid this dangerous disease.
Home remedies for Cholera
* First, make sure you drink a lot of water to compensate for the loss fluids.
* Put thirty grams of onion in a blender. Mix it with ten black peppers. Thoroughly grind this mixture and give it to the patient three times a day.
* Drink a glass of lemon or orange juice every day.
* Add roasted cumin seed and a dash of rock salt in a warm glass of buttermilk. Drink this three times a day.
* Make a basil tea by boiling fresh basil leaves in water. Let it steep for ten minutes. Strain and drink a cup of this tea every day.
