Burns
A burn is a kind of skin damage that is caused by fire, hot objects or liquids, radiation, or electricity. A mild burn consist of swelling and blisters while the more serious ones (particularly the third degree burns) are more dangerous and you must go to the hospital to avoid terminal results.
Home remedies for Burns
• Cut up an onion and gently rub it to the burnt area.
• If you burn a finger on a hot stove, immediately place your finger on your earlobe for instant relief.
• Put some banana skin on the burnt area.
• In the event of a burn (oven, boiling water, oil etc.) pour a raw, beaten egg over the burn. Very important! Don’t wash the burn in water even though this is the instinctive reaction. As quickly as possible, spread the egg and leave it in place for as long as possible. It creates a protective layer over the burn, neutralizing it in the process.
• Apply honey on the burnt area and cover it with a clean gauze or bandage.
• Immediately put petroleum jelly or baby oil.
• Put some lavender oil on the burnt area three times a day.
• Apply a papaya bulb on the area to instantly heal the wound.
• Immerse the affected area in whole milk for twenty minutes.
• Soak the area in one part vinegar and three parts water mixture.
